Cylindrical stoneware planter designed by David Cressey for Architectural Pottery, Los Angeles, circa 1960. The restrained cylindrical form and richly textured stoneware surface reflect the California modern aesthetic for which Cressey's work is known. Architectural Pottery was founded in Los Angeles in 1950 and its designs were widely used in important modernist residential and commercial projects. Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Two available.
